The Bohnenkamp AG’s online shop is now available anytime and anywhere thanks to the new shop app for smartphones and tablets. Gone are the days when dealers consulted customers on-site and then placed the orders later from the company office. As of now, orders can also be made directly at the customer's site. This is significantly faster and dealers can also directly provide the customer a binding price. With direct access to all prices, data and quantities, the company is offering a strong service tool.

Functionality that sets standards

In order to make the handling of the app as user-friendly as possible, the functions have been specially adapted to the agricultural machinery and tyre trade.

Henrik Schmudde, head of marketing at Bohnenkamp: "Our goal has always been to develop an app that optimally supports retailers in customer service. For this purpose, we have integrated various tools that make usage particularly simple and fast, thus offering real added value."

This begins with the app’s fingerprint registration. Once set up, the user can log in quickly and save time using their fingerprint rather than entering a username and password. Direct purchase enables them to order selected products directly with just one click. In addition, the user can benefit from all functions, even if they have no internet connection. The new offline feature nevertheless facilitates full use of all data and placement of orders too. These will automatically be saved in the event of a missing internet connection and transmitted to Bohnenkamp as soon as the device is back online.

Another highlight is repair processing. Any claims can be made directly in the app or edited after having creating them on a PC. In this way, the customer can take photos with the smartphone camera and then send them out together with the claim from the app.

Online service to go

In addition to these special app features, the app also offers almost all the contents of the online store. These include, among other things, the customisation settings "My Shop” stored in the online store, which are completely taken over by the app. In this way, every customer can present their own logo in the company colours. The well-known search mode via matchcode, size or article number is also possible. Search results can then be ordered with one click, placed into the shopping basket or be earmarked. Thanks to the possibility to directly contact an expert in the back office, also in this way a quick order is guaranteed all the time.

The new Bohnenkamp app is available for IOS and Android devices free of charge in the corresponding shops.
