HCR1450-ED crawler drill available for European market

Furukawa Rockdrill Europe has added a third new model to the previous two tophammer crawler drills launched for the European market in 2014. This new model fits inbetween the HCR1400-ED and HCR1600-ED and is called HCR1450-ED. It is similar in size and construction to the HCR1400-ED, but has a 10m3/min compressor and HD826 (26kW) drifter. The performance of the two new models has been outstanding and operators have commented very positively on the improved comfort of the cabin. The HCR1450-ED fills a gap in which FRD did not have a previous model. In also boasts a new Tier4i (Stage 3B) engine and other cosmetic and exterior changes, much of which focus on increased operator comfort, ease of maintenance and reduced operating cost.
