A patented breakthrough tribological development in rotary group design, delivers increase in starting efficiency with exceptional durability
With an enhanced rotary group design the MCR radial piston motor range from Rexroth provides a 12 percent increase in starting efficiency. This design development significantly reduces low speed torque ripple resulting in greatly improved slow speed performance and fine positioning of the vehicle.
The improved controllability of the vehicle leads to increased productivity as the operator requires less time whilst maneuvering. This product enhancement is the result of extensive research and developments in the areas of surface technology and geometrical optimization.
The MCR radial piston motor series offers a range of displacements, within each of the frame sizes, suitable for drive requirements for Fork Lift Trucks in the 1.0 to 7.0 tonnes range. The result of the higher starting torque within each frame size provides opportunities for downsizing, whilst at the same time reducing OEM system costs.
Manufacturers in the material handling sector are increasingly focused on high performance, energy efficient radial piston motors as a direct drive solution and these latest developments to the Rexroth MCR motor range meet the requirements.
Rexroth supplies the motors either as individual components or as part of complete traction drive solutions with matched hydraulic pumps, control equipment and software.
