HIMOINSA, an international leader in the design and manufacture of power technology solutions and part of Yanmar Energy Systems, announces the launch of its subsidiary in Turkey. HIMOINSA Turkey Power Solutions, located in Istanbul, focuses on the execution of special power generation projects, with expertise in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), as well as commissioning, ensuring the delivery of turnkey systems with the highest technical guarantee. Civil engineering works will be excluded from the subsidiary's direct scope, focusing its activities on the technological and energy core of the project.
HIMOINSA Turkey Power Solutions will undertake projects in Turkey and Central Asia and is made up of a multidisciplinary team of engineering, technical and commercial-executive management professionals with solid experience in power generation, technological integration and large project management. HIMOINSA's new subsidiary will become a hub of technical expertise focused on high-power, high-demand projects in both industrial environments and critical applications.
"We have a long track record of projects carried out in Turkey, executed jointly by HIMOINSA and YANMAR, so this project will only accelerate our presence in the region, where we have been operating for the last few decades," explains Guillermo Elum, EMEA Region Director, who insists on the importance of highlighting the company's solid experience in engineering and project management at a global level, but also in this region.
The company already has a long list of projects in Turkey, including the supply of 50 MW of emergency power for Turkey's largest hospital and the world's largest earthquake-resistant building. These projects have involved providing a comprehensive engineering solution with redundant fuel and synchronisation systems and radiators above 50°C, maximising energy efficiency and performance.
Yanmar Turkey's energy division has transferred its competencies to HIMOINSA for the management of Yanmar Energy Systems projects in Turkey. HIMOINSA is therefore responsible for providing comprehensive 360º power solutions. HIMOINSA will also provide technical service and maintenance for Yanmar Turkey's existing contracts with its customers for this kind of power generation projects.

HIMOINSA Turkey Power Solutions not only strengthens the group's industrial presence in the region, but also leads the implementation of advanced power solutions for applications where service continuity and energy efficiency are vital. From hospitals to strategic infrastructure and large industrial plants, HIMOINSA Turkey Power Solutions is ready to develop special and mission-critical projects, providing tailor-made engineering and comprehensive management.
At the forefront of strategic development is Efecan Ulku, Business Development Director, whose track record in the energy sector underpins the technical and commercial positioning of this new entity. Ulku has more than 16 years of experience in the power generation sector, leading large-scale projects. His profile represents a guarantee of technical continuity and commercial vision for a subsidiary that aspires to lead the regional market for advanced energy solutions.
