HIMOINSA has celebrated the opening of its new facilities in Warsaw, Poland, with an event that was attended by its main distribution companies in Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and the Baltic States, as well as rental companies whose fleets include HIMOINSA generator sets and lighting towers.

The event was chaired by Jun Takashima, Executive Director at HIMOINSA, Guillermo Elum, EMEA Regional Director, and Marcin Miziak, General Manager of HIMOINSA Polska, who all valued this project very positively as a way to strengthen its growth in Europe.

The company set up its first subsidiary in Poland in 2003 and 16 years later it has now opened its new 10,000 m2 facilities which will allow it to expand its warehouse area, thereby guaranteeing a greater stock of generator sets and lighting towers which in turn will allow it to respond even more quickly to the market. It will now also have an after-market space, a mechanical workshop for equipment repairs and a spare parts sales outlet.

The HIMOINSA Polska team includes technical service professionals, project engineers, sales managers and sales assistants. The General Manager of HIMOINSA Polska assures us that "the new facilities and the highly skilled technical-commercial team will allow the company to consolidate its position in the market and open up new business opportunities in the region."

Its new offices cover an area of over 700 m2 and also house the training room and the customer service area. Customers visiting the new facilities will be able to see the latest generator set models designed for the local market in a 1,000 m2 showroom. Although the construction, rental and agriculture sectors have always been very important for HIMOINSA in Poland, the company is currently developing major projects with high power (>500 kVA) standby generator sets for the food industry and for Data Center projects. “We are discovering new growth opportunities in Poland and in its neighbouring countries," says Guillermo Elum, EMEA Regional Director, who believes that the new developments the company is working on for standby applications will enable it to offer very competitive quality products in the power generation market where the standby segment represents around 80% of the market, according to the latest reports published by Frost & Sullivan.

The company has now added new developments for emergency applications to the recent development of generator sets with Stage V engines for PRP (rental sector) applications. Without a doubt, a constant commitment to innovation in a market such as Europe, which represented 47% of HIMOINSA's global turnover in 2018.
