With regard to the seed coulters the customers can choose between the well-proven TurboDisc double disc coulter or the new tine coulter TurboEdge. Its advantages are particularly obvious in case of row spacings that are larger than 25cm for rape and beans. Especially on heavy soils or with a lot of residues on the surface the seed tine guarantees an excellent placement of the seed.

Even if there is limited cultivation work, because of the climatic conditions, the TurboEdge coulter shows its advantages. For all other customers the TurboDisc coulter at the Focus continues to be a good choice, especially with regard to a maximally precise seed placement.

In the future, the MiniDrill with a hopper capacity of 400 l will also be available for the Focus. Thus, a third component finds its way into the application process and significantly increases the efficiency of the machine. In the case of rape seeding, the rape seed can be metered with the MiniDrill and the two main hoppers can be used for fertiliser. This G & F (Grain & Fertiliser) example increases the seeding output of the Focus by 40 %.

If the machine is used as an addition to the PPF system, the seed outlets are located in the area of the seed bar and for example are used to apply under a sown crop or slug pellets.

A new crumbling unit instead of the levelling discs in front of the packer additionally provides fine earth in the seed strip on medium and heavy soils. Due to its open design and the small diameter coarse soil is safely crushed. Moreover, the self-cleaning effect on sticky damp soils is excellent.
