In Switzerland, sales and service are managed independently through the Up Group, highlighting a tailored approach across the DACH region.
The IMER Group is expanding its service and sales structure for aerial work platforms in the DACH region. Under the leadership of Bernhard Kahn, Business Development Manager IMER DACH, the company is working to further strengthen its market presence and customer proximity in Germany and Austria.
A key element of this development is the expansion of the aftersales organization. Under the aftersales leadership for IMER DACH by Reinhard Sebulke, the service network for IMER aerial work platforms has been significantly expanded over the past months. The network now includes 12 authorised service centres in Germany and Austria, providing maintenance, service and technical support for IMER machines. The objective is to ensure faster response times and even closer customer support through stronger regional coverage.
“Our goal is not only to provide our customers with innovative and high-performance aerial work platforms, but also to ensure reliable and professional service,” explains Bernhard Kahn, Business Development Manager IMER DACH. “The expansion of our service network is an important step towards moving closer to our customers and providing them with even better support in the daily operation of their machines.”
Reinhard Sebulke, Aftersales Manager IMER DACH, also emphasizes the importance of the expanded structure: “A strong and regionally well-positioned service organization is a key factor for customer satisfaction. With twelve authorised service centres now operating in Germany and Austria, we can respond faster and support our customers much more efficiently.”

IMER is currently in discussions with additional potential service partners in order to further expand the network in the DACH region. Service companies from the aerial work platform, construction equipment and forklift industries that are interested in working with IMER are invited to contact the company to explore potential partnership opportunities.
Another part of the extended IMER DACH strategy is the gradual development of selected service centres into regional sales partners. These partners will be responsible for promoting and selling IMER aerial work platforms in their respective regions, particularly in sectors outside the traditional rental market, including landscaping, trades and industrial applications. “We see significant potential in market segments beyond the traditional rental structure,” Kahn adds. “Our strategy is to work together with strong regional partners to open up new customer segments and further strengthen the IMER Access brand in the market.”
The aerial work platforms of the IMER Group are marketed through the IMER Access division. In regions of Germany and Austria where no distribution partner has yet been appointed, machines will continue to be sold through direct factory sales.
In Switzerland, the IMER Group has been working successfully with the Up Group from Affoltern am Albis for many years. Sales and service for IMER products are ensured through the Up Group at 11 locations in Switzerland, independent of the German-Austrian service network.
With the expansion of its service and sales structure, IMER underlines its strategy of sustainably strengthening customer support throughout the entire DACH region.
