KUHN expands its SITERA 100 seed drill range with the new SITERA 320D featuring double disc seeding units for enhanced precision and versatility.
-
The SITERA 320D offers a 3-meter working width with adjustable row spacing and mechanical or electric metering drive options.
-
Designed for integration with power harrows and small to medium tractors, it ensures good maneuverability and precise seed placement.
-
The electric version provides automated calibration and GPS-based seeding control, improving operator comfort and efficiency.
The new SITERA 320D completes the range of KUHN mechanical, lightweight and compact seed drill combinations.
Already featuring models with Suffolk coulters (SITERA 310), single-disc coulters (SITERA 320) and SEEDFLEX 100 seeding units (SITERA 330), the family of SITERA 100 integrated mechanical seed drills is expanding with the launch of the new SITERA 320D equipped with double discs! This model, with a working width of 3.00 meters, is available with a row spacing of 12.5 or 15 cm. Depending on the configuration chosen, the metering unit drive can be mechanical or electrical.
What is the specific feature of the SITERA 320D?
This new seed drill is equipped with double disc seeding units synonymous with versatility and precision. Made up of two slightly inclined discs, these ensure perfect opening of the furrow even on lightly worked soils. The first disc opens the furrow while the second of smaller diameter, holds it open for precise positioning of the seeds. Their distribution in 2 rows spaced 25 cm apart makes it easier for them to pass in plant residues or tilled soil. The coulter pressure, adjustable up to 35 kg, coupled with a lower stop as standard, allows precise control of the seeding depth.

All these advantages complement the assets of the current range, namely:
-
Seedbed preparation and seeding in a single pass: The SITERA 100 are compatible with the HRB 302, HRB 303, HR 304 and HR 3004 power harrows, the EL 162-300 power tiller and the CD 300 tine cultivator. They allow work with tractors from 100 to 250 hp. (depending on the associated tool).
-
Perfect integration: Thanks to the seed drill directly attached to the roller of the power harrow and a 600-litre hopper in maximum advanced position, the SITERA 100 range seed drills have a centre of gravity close to the tractor. The advantages are numerous: good manoeuvrability, reduced lifting power requirement and excellent visibility of the seeding units. Thanks to this design, the SITERA 100 range seed drills are suitable for small tractors (from 100/120 hp depending on the model).
-
A reliable and proven metering system: For precise and regular metering, KUHN has relied on a sure value, having contributed to the reputation of the SITERA range seed drills: the HELICA metering system with helical volumetric flutes.
-
ISOBUS compatibility: KUHN offers several electronic solutions to adapt to all tractor types. Seeding can be managed via an ISOBUS CCI 60, CCI 800, CCI 1200 terminal or any other ISOBUS terminal already available on the farm. The KUHN VT 30 terminal represents the ideal solution for non-ISOBUS tractors!
-
An electric version for greater comfort! The metering unit of the SITERA 100 e range seed drills is powered by an electric drive. The benefits are numerous:
-
Simplified calibration control carried out automatically thanks to the calibration button and automatic engagement of the metering system.
-
Modulation of the seed application rate which can be done manually or automatically by GPS via an ISOBUS terminal with the TC-GEO function.
-
Automatic seeding management by GPS (for starting and stopping metering during U-turns) via the Section Control function (TC-SC).
-
These light and compact seed drills from the SITERA 100 range provide a simple and effective solution for mixed crop-livestock or medium-sized cereal farms.
