KEMROC is going to Paris

KEMROC will be exhibiting to a wide international audience at Intermat, a major construction equipment show at Paris. The German manufacturer will exhibit their unique attachments for excavators and backhoes at two exhibition stands. In addition to their standard range, they will be showing examples of new product developments.

KEMROC milling attachments for excavators and backhoes are used to complete specific tasks in road building, excavation and foundation work, trenching and tunnelling, demolition, auger drilling and mining applications. High-performance combined with the strength and reliability of these "Made in Germany" attachments enables them to succeed where other excavator attachments fail on performance or economical grounds. A comprehensive overview of KEMROC’s products can be seen in Hall 5A at Intermat from 23 to 28 April 2018.

At KEMROC stand number 5A LM 085, the company will have three different size chain cutters from their EK (ERKATOR) range on display. With their patented, centrally located, chain these attachments are used to excavate narrow, deep trenches in soft to medium hard rock. Finishing off the display will be a large EBA 2300 from the EBA range of auger drive units.

Standard products, new models and methods

At Intermat 2018, KEMROC will also be displaying product on the stand of their French dealer, WITECK. They will have a broad range of KEMROC products on display on WITECK’s stand number L 090, which is also located in Hall 5A. From the EX (Exactor) range for milling asphalt and concrete surfaces, there will be an EX 45HD cold milling machine with accurate depth control and an ES 20HD multi-purpose attachment from the ES (Flexator) range for milling wood, asphalt, concrete and rock. From the DMW (ERWETOR) range of cutter wheels there will be a DMW 130 with water spray nozzles, sumping device and wheel guard. The cutter wheel is used in rocks with compressive strength up to 120 MPa. A new product on display will be the ES 80 HD from the ES (Flexator) range. Compared to the ES 60HD with a 60 cm wide drum, the larger model has an 80 cm wide drum, and in this case, it will be fitted with a newly designed profiling drum with heavy duty picks and boxes. With higher torque and peripheral speed, the ES 80HD also offers higher productivity.

KEMROC will be promoting their completely new C&B Tool from their innovative Cut & Break program. This program offers a solution for excavating rock from quarries that are no longer able to use drill and blast. Using a standard excavator, rock is excavated by alternating between a cutter wheel to produce slots and a tool to break the rock away from the quarry face. This new method offers a solution for low noise, low vibration mining of soft to medium hard rock deposits.
