LiuGong Appoints Kevin Thieneman as Vice President

LiuGong Machinery is a Chinese Construction Equipment manufacturer providing total solutions that suit the most extreme working conditions.  LiuGong Machinery is pleased to announce a strategic adjustment to its senior leadership team with the promotion of Mr. Kevin Thieneman to Vice President. Mr. Thieneman will be responsible for global strategy and business development, global after-sales business, and support the acceleration of market segment solutions.  He will also continue in his role as Executive Chairman of LiuGong North America. Mr. Thieneman has served in this role since he joined LiuGong in June 2017.

Mr. Thieneman has 25 years of experience in the construction equipment sector. Before joining LiuGong, he served as President of Caterpillar Forest Products, and had served in senior leadership roles for Caterpillar in the Asia Pacific region for over a decade. He has been a member of the West Georgia Technical College Board of Directors as well as a member of the Industry Advisory Board for Georgia Tech’s Supply Chain & Logistics Institute. In May, Kevin completed his one-year term as Chairman of the Georgia Association of Manufacturers.
