LiuGong Showcases Its Material Handling Equipment at CeMAT

LiuGong, a global leader in manufacturing a full line of extreme duty equipment, will exhibit at CeMAT 2016; the world’s leading trade fair for intralogistics.

At the trade fair, which will take place from 31 May-3 June in Hannover, Germany, LiuGong will showcase 10 machines, ranging from 1.5 to 5 tons. These machines will be exhibited in a 216 square meter booth at G12, Hall 25.

The ten machines consist of five electric forklifts: CLG2015A-T, CLG2020A, CLG2020L-R3, CLG2020L-WA and CLG2015H-WF. The latter three are specifically designed for warehousing logistics. Internal combustion forklift models will also be at the fair, including CPCD30, CLG2030H, CLG2050H and CPCD25. The latest generation of the LiuGong forklift, CLG2030H C-Series, is also set to make its debut at the show.

LiuGong acquired Shanghai HuGuang Forklift Corporation in 2002, the latter had been developing and manufacturing forklifts since 1958. “Like other LiuGong products, LiuGong forklifts were supported by its global manufacturing plants, sales and parts depot centres, massive dealer network and a professional support team” Wang added. After more than a decade of development, LiuGong now has its own research and development team and three manufacturing bases at home and abroad for forklifts to manufacture both electric and internal combustion forklifts. The former product line includes AC electric forklifts which covers from one ton to three ton, and all the exhibited machines at CeMAT have passed the CE certification. The capacity of internal combustion forklifts product line ranges from one to 16 tons and the exhibits are compliant with EU stage III emission regulations.

Both LiuGong and its forklifts have achieved remarkable progress in the global market in recent years, partly thanks to its strong dealer network. “Our forklifts have gained an outstanding reputation globally, with a faultless performance, quality and after-sales service. This is especially evident in the European and Latin American markets, where we have previously generated large sales to Turkey and Venezuela.”

Conquering the European market is critical to LiuGong’s success. Early in 2012, LiuGong enlarged its operations in the area and moved its new facilities to Almere, Netherlands; including a sales & training hub and as well as a 2400 m² parts centre. LiuGong has proved its commitment to this market, continuously providing reliable products, a quick turn-around of spare parts and 24/7 support by real actions.
