Logic from the construction kit: Digital and analog position monitoring can now be combined for the first time

Active logic LC2A-1X from Bosch Rexroth with new functions

With its actively controllable 2/2 directional cartridge valves LC2A-1X in conjunction with logic covers from the standard program, Bosch Rexroth opens up a virtually unlimited variety of functions in hydraulics. Thanks to the integration of an analog sensor in addition to digital position monitoring, users can exactly sense and evaluate the valve position. The modular structure reduces the engineering and assembly effort as well as cost of circuit modifications and repairs.

Analog position sensing not only allows the switching behavior to be evaluated during operation or when optimization tasks are carried out. Also position-controlled tasks can be realized with a proportional adjustment element.

Compared with position monitoring of the former variant with damping nose (option "D"), the new spool with overlap nose (option “F”) reduces the delta p Compared with position monitoring of the former variant with damping nose (option "D"), the new spool with overlap nose (option “F”) reduces the delta p by up to 60 percent depending on the size. Apart from a reduction of power losses, this allows smaller sizes to be used.

A novelty is versions for an unrestricted operating pressure of 450 bar. Due to the compatibility with standard logic inserts, series LC2A-1X is predestined for conversions – for example in the case of more stringent requirements with regard to freedom from leakage, closing time, pressure range or position monitoring. The valve series covers a size range from 16 to 100 and is designed for flow rates up to 12,500 l/min.
