New Bobcat Products from Adare Machinery at FTMTA Show

Limerick-based Bobcat Authorised Dealer, Adare Machinery, will be showing new Bobcat products for the first time in Ireland at the FTMTA Farm Machinery Show 2022 at the Punchestown Event Centre outside Naas in County Kildare from 13-14 July 2022. Adare Machinery will be showing Bobcat’s new TL38.70HF R-Series telehandler and L85 compact wheel loader for the first time at an Ireland show.

The FTMTA Farm Machinery Show is a biannual event held at the Punchestown event centre and has grown to become the flagship event for the Irish farm machinery industry over the past 30 years. One of the key attractions for exhibitors like Adare Machinery is the calibre of visitors that attend the show - attracting people with a genuine interest and need for farm machinery.

Seven Agricultural Telehandlers with lifting heights from 6 to 8 m

On standard 24 inch tyres, the TL38.70HF offers a maximum lift capacity of 3.8 tonne, a maximum lift height of 7.0 m and a maximum forward reach of 3.9 m. Including this model, the new R-Series agricultural telehandler range from Bobcat provides a choice of seven models with Stage V engines, covering maximum lifting capacities between 2.6 and 4.3 tonne with lifting heights from 6 to 8 m and comprises the models below:

Compact models – TL26.60, TL30.60 and TL30.70

Large models – TL35.70, TL34.65HF, TL38.70HF and TL43.80HF

New R-Series Cab Offers Premium Workspace and Operator Experience

Bobcat R-Series telehandlers offer a premium workspace with a new cab design. The new high quality, contemporary interior of the cab features stand-out R-Series branding, colours and textures that clearly reflect Bobcat’s DNA. In the ergonomic design, all surfaces have been optimised to offer increased space and visibility, whilst control switches are colour grouped depending on their functions.

A new Grammer Maximo Dynamic air suspension seat with heating, featuring a suspended armrest with joystick provides an outstanding ride and high operating comfort. The new Bobcat multifunctional joystick enables faster operations. The FNR button located at the back of the joystick is easily controlled using the index finger, allowing the operator to use their thumb to actuate the usual boom and auxiliary functions and new smart functions such as the Auto Grab, the bucket shaking feature, the boom float and the speed shifting system.

Standard 3-Year Warranty Included

As with all new Bobcat telehandlers, the R-Series offers customers peace of mind with a 3-year warranty (or 3000 hours) on the entire machine as standard from the factory, extendable to 5 years and 5000 hours. Bobcat is the only manufacturer to provide a 3-year warranty as standard, allowing customers to focus entirely on growing their farming business without worrying about their machines.

Bobcat Enters Compact Wheel Loader Market

Another first-timer on the Adare Machinery stand at the FTMTA show is the Bobcat L85 compact wheel loader. When Bobcat entered this market in 2020 with the L85 model, it confirmed that the company offers the largest loader portfolio of any manufacturer in the world and will widen this further when the company launches the second model in the compact wheel loader range, the L75, later this year.

High performance is assured by the combination of the powerful Bobcat engine and the hydraulics in the L85. This is complemented by the high stability, breakout, push and pull forces and a comprehensive selection of Bobcat attachments.

Already, there are multiple Bobcat loader attachments approved for use on the L85, with more to be announced in the near future. The current portfolio includes a general purpose bucket, light material buckets, a combination bucket, pallet forks and angle broom and snowblower attachments, making the L85 a truly multi-purpose machine.

The L85 is equipped as standard with the Power Quick-Tach system compatible with widely used industry standard couplers. To run high-flow attachments like a snow blower and an angle broom, the L85 can be fitted with a high flow option, providing a hydraulic flow of 100 l/min.
