New: Digital farming update for AXIS fertiliser spreader

As of summer 2017, the new RAUCH AXIS H and AXIS M 50.2 EMC+W models are equipped with a completely revised digital farming electronics concept as a standard.

Thus, AXIS spreaders are excellently prepared for the challenges of digital farming: Increase of fertiliser and spreading efficiency, WLAN data transmission of the setting values of fertiliser charts and application cards, residual quantity display via the spreader app, fully automatic documentation of all operations, use of nitrogen sensors as well as the permanent data exchange with the Internet and the farm management systems.

The new job computer is the core of the AXIS electronics. This is the first time that RAUCH has programmed the ISOBUS software independently. Due to the computer software developed and administered in-house, RAUCH is now in the position to react even quicker to the new requirements for the ISOBUS applications. New trends such as the software updates of tractor manufacturers or digital farming requirements can be independently implemented by RAUCH in real time. This is a decisive advantage for future-oriented AXIS customers.

The new software allows for the precise spreading of different spreading quantities separately on the right and left side. Thus, partial areas can be fertilised even more closely and efficiently within the scope of precision farming.

The new AXIS generation is controlled by the new CCI-1200 ISOBUS terminal. The high-quality CCI-1200 terminals in tablet design feature a high-resolution 12 inch multi-touch display. Due to the new CCI-OS operating system, the display can be divided into 2 large windows and 4 mini-view windows. Unlike the conventional split-screen solutions, the driver can simply adjust the window arrangement and assignment by touch according to his demands. With CCI-1200, it is even possible to control 2 ISOBUS machines at a time, e.g. front tank and fertiliser spreader. Of course, you can also use all established GPS apps (task controller, section control, etc.) with CCI-1200.

With the optional WLAN module, the AXIS spreader settings are completely automated. The operator simply selects the desired fertiliser type and working width in the free RAUCH fertiliser chart app on the smartphone. By WLAN, the setting values are quickly and conveniently transmitted by touch to the AXIS electronics. The AXIS spreader technology with remote control for all functions is adjusted precisely and reliably according to the settings. Incorrect settings are avoided right from the beginning. Special highlight: The WLAN module for the AXIS-H EMC+W transmits the current fertiliser quantity in the hopper to the smartphone. Thus, the operator can query the current loading condition at any time, even if he is, for example, in the wheel loader. This facilitates precise loading without any annoying residual quantities in the spreader.

Moreover, the WLAN module allows for the connection to the desired Internet portals. Already in spring 2018, RAUCH will present the AgriRouter data highway together with the other founding members of the DKE corporation. AgriRouter is a new, manufacturer-neutral, independent online platform for the data exchange of agricultural machinery with digital service providers from agriculture, administration and the nutrition industry on the Internet.
