Meanwhile the customer Mathias Schneider has taken the new machine into operation and works with this model very successfully. His first review of the HEM 593 Z is positive. After 300 operating hours with the HEM 593 Z a performance increase of around 20% can be forecast.

The mobile chipper convinces of various features, the most important feature is the draw-in which is 20 cm wider. Advantage is, that a wider draw-in allows material to be processed better. The task of the driver is now more or less restricted to providing material using the crane. The chipper works more evenly, there is less empty running time. The throughput rate increases.

Mathias Schneider particularly praises the maintenance-friendliness of the JENZ-chipper.The enormous screen basket cover swivel capability provides an optimal accessibility of rotor and enables the driver to change the screen basket without tools. The one-piece screen basket can be replaced in only 10 minutes without tools. The screen area is now even larger which is reflected in the higher woodchipping quality. Another big advantage ist he hydraulically-driven out feed blower which is now standard feature on the HEM 593 Z.

The Bavarian JENZ sales manager Helmut Krammer strongly advocated the development. The customers in Bavaria are asking for a chipper which they can use to serve large district heating stations as well as small incineration plants. Long journey to the jobs, scatered material heaps and frequent screen basket changes are on the daily agenda. This gap can best be closed using a universally usable chipper like the HEM 593 Z.
