New SC-50 HD, a duty cycle crawler crane

At Bauma 2016, Soilmec introduce the new SC-50 HD, the smallest model of its heavy duty crawler cranes. The SC-50 HD, despite the size, is a real multifunctional crane designed with some target arrangements aimed to increase quality and performances. The maximum lifting capacity is 50 tons with a working radius of 3.6 m, and the boom length can reach 40 m.

The 15 t free fall winches allow to work in several working configurations (crane, mechanical grab, hydraulic vibrator, clamshell, casing oscillator, chisel, etc.), and this become the SC-50HD suitable for a large range of job sites.

Finally, the "Easy DMS" installed in the crane checks the main machine parameters and, supported by a modem, can transmit all machine warnings to a DMS Control Center.
