NEW SM-22

Latest technical advancement is the Soilmec solution on our SM-22 to improve the productivity and safety in tunnelling job-site.

Our designs worked together to the final customer, from the technical managers to the operators of the unit, to develop this solution.

It consist of:

• a new Kinematism

• a new Loader rod & Casing installed on the mast and the new Service Rack equipped

• a new articulated boom crane completed of manipulator for rod and casing.

The new special kinematic allows to drill horizontally on the tunnel’s face.

One hydraulic motoreducer actuated slewing ring (± 180°).

Minimum Horizontal Radius 1.500 mm

Maximum Horizontal Radius 4.400 mm

The solution provided allows to drill horizontally in fully automatic mode.

In addition and to completion the solution the unit has been equipped with the new automatic loader Rod and casing directly applied on the mast.

The new Service Rack supplies the automatic loader rod and casing of the SM-22 thanks to the special articulated boom crane completed of manipulator for rod and casing .
