New Standard of efficiency: CORONA 300 combined seed-drill

The new combined seed-drill CORONA 300 allows farmers to approach new standards in efficiency and productivity. The minimum tillage concept combined with rubber roller levelling and reconsolidating effects, create the best conditions for seeding and planting in just one pass. CORONA 300 (3 m of working width, HP req.: 120) featured with a 3500 l hopper to seed up to 20 and more hectares without stopping. The wide hopper opening makes easier filling operation both with auger, with big bag or with shovel loader.

The rear roller is made of ultra-wide section and diameter (405/70-R20) tires. Their special flat-tread design reconsolidates soil and levels for an excellent seed-soil contact and a quick crop emergence. 175 mm offset in between wheels has a self-cleaning effect and reduces the risk of clogging. The ‘tillage zone’ is equipped with concave, toothed and large discs (n. 24, Ø 510 mm). Each disc is individually suspended on the frame by silent-block absorbers to prevent damage when hitting obstacles. This system is maintenance-free and makes the discs follow ground profiles even on uneven grounds. The Gaspardo metering system makes possible the distribution of seed and fertilizer with different sizes, even at high rates (theoretical maximum 350 kg/ha seed and 550 kg/ha fertilizer). The seed distributor is made in cast aluminum with rust-proof stainless steel and polyethylene components while the large diameter dosing rollers guarantee a precise rate definition and distribution. The PERFECTA™ seeding bar features with a double disc openers (n. 12 or 24, inter-row: 12,5 or 15 cm) equipped with internal scrapers and heavy-duty sealed hubs. 12 or 24, 320x3” rear wheels set the seeding depth and improve seed-soil contact. The parallelogram seeding unit connection system guarantees great vertical excursion (+14 cm from the zero) and perfect seeding depth control (from 0 to 8 cm).
