Oktoberfest in Gescher-Hochmoor

This year, RUTHMANN’s International Sales and Service Partner Meeting coincided with a traditional Oktoberfest celebration. The festivities took place at the company location in Gescher-Hochmoor, Germany on October 31, 2013. RUTHMANN held this special event to show its appreciation for the company’s successful international business partners and highly committed work force.

Over 500 people – business partners and staff with spouses – attended this special fun-filled celebration. The event was organized by RUTHMANN’s personnel manager, Christa Kappenhagen, and internal operations manager, Michael Heinzl. Oktoberfest in Gescher-Hochmoor turned out to be a huge success and a good time was had by all.

The Oktoberfest celebration was also the perfect opportunity to name the winner of this year’s “Sales and Service Partner of the Year Award”. The distinguished award was given to Roger Wagner, owner and managing director of Hubitec AG in Switzerland.

RUTHMANN employees, Remy Doyen and Hubert Harpin, were also awarded for their outstanding achievements in France.

The first ever “Supplier of the Year Award” went to Günter Bruns, managing director of Metallbau Bruns GmbH in Reken, Germany.
