NORTH AMERICAN PREMIER: PK 165.002 TEC 7

PALFINGER is set to introduce the innovative PK 165.002 TEC 7 knuckle boom crane to the North American market at the 2017 ConExpo-Con/Agg. Designed for carrier vehicles with a maximum permitted total weight of 32 tons, the PK 165.002 TEC 7 reaches new dimensions in terms of weight reduction.  “For the North American market, the new PK 165.002 TEC 7 offers tremendous advantages and industry leading technologies” explains Greg Sneek, Product Manager at Palfinger North America.  The new model allows for its installation on Class 8 chassis, and when fully equipped with fly-jib and winch has a total weight of less than 80,000 lbs. This weight savings reduces the need for special permits to transport the truck throughout areas in North America.

PAL PRO 39 MECHANICS TRUCK

PALFINGER will also debut its newest innovative service truck solution: PAL Pro 39. PAL Pro Mechanics Trucks are true crane bodies designed for mobile heavy equipment service providers.  The new light-weight generation, PAL Pro 39 is available in 9’ and 11’ standard configurations for class 4 – 5 trucks. Users can expect weight saving benefits, increased payload capacity and exceptional rust protection. In addition, our largest Mechanics Truck package will also be displayed. The PAL Pro 86 is available in a standard configuration up to 14’ and capacities up to 86,000 ft. lbs.

WT 1000 AERIAL WORK PLATFORM

Engineered for assembly and maintenance on wind turbines and other towering structures, the WT 1000 provides access to tall, difficult-to-reach jobs with a working height of 337 feet (103 meters). Equipped with a five-axel all-terrain mobile crane chassis and four different stabilizing configurations which allow the WT 1000 to work in tight conditions, the working capabilities of the platform aren’t hindered by its large size. Electronics and safety features, including telescopic stabilizers, also guarantee stability and allow for safe operation in wind speeds up to 12.5 m/s.
