Pioneering project for CO2 reduction: SENNEBOGEN presents material handlers made from “green steel” at bauma 2025
SENNEBOGEN, a Bavarian manufacturer of material handling machines, will showcase its 830 G material handler made of "green steel" at bauma 2025, a major trade fair. Developed in collaboration with Salzgitter AG and its subsidiary DEUMU, this project demonstrates significant CO2 savings by using CO2-reduced steel produced under the SALCOS®, program, which targets up to a 95% reduction in emissions from traditional steel production. The 830 G achieves a total CO2 reduction of 20 tons per machine, setting new standards in sustainable machinery. Following the trade fair, the 830 G will be employed in steel scrap handling, contributing to circular economy practices.
