The Grove GRT780 rough-terrain crane by Manitowoc will make its European and trade show debut at bauma 2025 in Germany. This 80-ton capacity crane, produced initially in Shady Grove, Pennsylvania, will soon begin production in Niella Tanaro, Italy, catering to European and emerging markets. Replacing the RT770E and GRT880 models, the GRT780 features a MEGAFORM™ full-power boom with a five-section span of 11.9 - 47.3 meters and a bi-fold swingaway jib extending the reach to 67 meters. It includes a standard counterweight of 7,938 kg with an optional increase of 1,360 kg, a hydraulic counterweight removal system, MAXbase™ variable outrigger system, CCS 1+ touchscreen display, and a spacious tilting cab. It is powered by a Cummins Stage V engine, providing strength and efficient, eco-friendly operation. MEILLER, a Munich-based tipper specialist, unveiled the new GRANDLOAD thermal tipping semi-trailer at bauma 2025, which is specifically tailored to demands of road construction. Equipped with an insulated body made of water-repellent, double-walled stainless steel, the thermal tipping semi-trailer is designed to reliably transport thermally sensitive bulk materials such as asphalt or bitumen, maintaining a constant material temperature up to the point of unloading. Precise measuring technology continuously monitors the temperature in the body to detect deviations early and prevent waste. The body's low center of gravity and lower loading sill facilitate filling and enable precise material flow during unloading - a key benefit for asphalt work. The design combines a balanced ratio of weight to stability and uses STEELECT for demanding applications to ensure a hardness of at least 450 HBW.

Takeuchi presented its new excavators and crawler loaders at bauma, which generated great enthusiasm among visitors. The tiltrotators, in particular, enhanced efficiency by allowing attachments to rotate and pivot without moving the excavator - a solution that saves time and protects the ground. These tiltrotators are specially manufactured for Takeuchi and impress with their robustness and high quality. The TL8R and TL12V2 crawler loaders were in high demand, which had a positive impact on their market presence. Marco Pohl from Wilhelm Schäfer noted the high level of enthusiasm and purchasing interest among visitors, which is attributable to the quality and technical excellence of Takeuchi products. Overall, the company reported a highly successful bauma showing.

MultiOne achieved great success with its new multi-loaders at the bauma construction machinery trade fair in Munich, particularly with the 5.3 iD, 8.4 TurboS, and the 11 Series models. These loaders stand out for their modern design, high performance, and wide range of applications. This makes them especially appealing to construction contractors, landscapers, and agricultural operators.
