Roofing ceremony of the new entrance hall

On 6th October the roofing ceremony of the new entrance hall was celebrated. The entrance hall will be the new attractive hub for all JENZ visitors and is placed between the existing buildings of sales and administration/ production.

Sustainable use of resources is one of the guiding principles of JENZ and this has also been taken into account for the construction of the new entrance hall. The hall will be built according to high standards of energy efficiency.  Where possible laminated timber has been used. The roof will be covered by solar panels, its energy will be used for more than 75 % directly in the company. The heating will be connected to the existing wood chip heating.

Thereby the new building (such as the rest of the company) will be a 100 % CO2-neutral.
