Seed spacing gearbox with levers EasyGear

The new EasyGear seed spacing gearbox with levers is included, since the 1st of July 2015, as standard equipment on the Monoshox® NG Plus M planter range.

Thanks to the EasyGear seed spacing gearbox, it is now possible to change the seed population quickly without touching either chain or sprockets. This seed spacing gearbox with gears has 3 levers easy to recognize (A, B and C), each one with 2 to 4 positions.

Thus, the EasyGear seed spacing gearbox has 18 ratios with an optimized gear range to obtain a precise choice of the seed population. Simply using the crank, it is not necessary to turn the planter’s wheels to change the ratios. For reduced inter-row spacings, a telescopic crank enables to move the seed spacing gearbox levers from behind the planter. No more need to slip between the units to change the seed population! The EasyGear seed spacing gearbox also has a declutched position enabling a rapid cut off of the sections (for folding planters with a seed spacing gearbox on each part of the frame).

Maximal simplicity

The EasyGear seed spacing gearbox answers the needs of users wishing a mechanical drive of the metering and also solutions to make easier seed population adjustment. In this way, the new seed spacing gearbox offers a better ease of use whilst having a simple, mechanical and within anybody's reach solution.

Concerning the maintenance, the gears drive with oil bath does not require any action.

Maximal compatibility

The EasyGear seed spacing gearbox is placed in place of the traditional seed spacing gearboxes ; it means on all planter models with a TIP 5" frame except those with a lateral seed spacing gearbox (Extend, Monobloc2 Comfort and rigid TFC frames).

The EasyGear seed spacing gearbox takes up little space and is compatible with all inter-rows from 37,5 cm. It is standard on the Monoshox® NG Plus M planter range and also available on option on the NG Plus 4 planter range.

Following the development of the MicroDriveVM for the Microsem and the FertiDriveVM for fertilizers, the new EasyGear seed spacing gearbox completes the Monosem solutions for easier adjustment of the planters.
