SR-45 ADV – LHR version

The Soilmec LHR quick conversion kit is specially designed for works in low space condition, under the electric power lines or bridges, as well as existing structures. Drill rigs equipped with Low-Head-Room attachments provide a safe work environment and at less cost. Soilmec has developed low-headroom conversion kit that can be mounted on the new SR-45 ADV for large diameters and deep piles. The SR-45 ADV in LHR version is a compact drilling rig easy to assemble, move and reassemble, which is designed especially for working in limited headroom conditions. Thanks to the new Soilmec concept design, the rig has extremely high performance in cased or uncased bored piles technology and can be optionally configured in continuous flight auger version.

The base machine has been designed to offer more comfort and safety on the jobsite. The new canopies are made with fiberglass to be robust and light and to enable a lower noise emission are constructed with insulating materials of high quality. The Cummins QSB6.7 Tier4 Diesel engine, available also in Tier3, deliver an impressive output to 201 kW (269 HP) while meeting more efficiency and flexibility. Despite its size, with an operating weight of just 38 tons, the SR-45 LHR is fitted with the H-CAB that features an outstanding space inside (1050 mm width) sliding doors, powerful air-conditioner system, air-suspended seat and adjustable DMS touch screen 12’’ monitor. In compliance with the standards EN16228 the catwalks, handrails and LCD cameras monitor have been design to allows a total control over a  greater working area making you feel safer. The electrical system was simplified and strategically located into a single panel and all the electrical connections are provided with harness cable and led signal in order to optimize the maintenance operation. The rotary head has been lightened and resized guaranteeing lower force losses in extraction and less obstruction on site. The rotary is available in spin-off system configuration for a rapid tool discharge, with a torque capacity of 185 kNm, and can be equipped with an automatic greasing kit. The sleeve is realized with removable and symmetrical ribs that can be mounted upside down and reused doubling its useful life. The SR-45 include a simplified integrated structure for the mast (built of high-strength steel), cathead, and parallelogram system to optimize the forward weight balance of the machine, resulting in enhanced stability and increased depth  capability. The crowd system is operated  by a fast and heavy-duty 2500 mm stroke cylinder with higher effective crowd and extraction force value (207/140 kN) providing good drilling performance and greater efficiency. In LDP configuration the height of the rig is 8,5 m and allows the use of 5 m long Kelly bar reaching a drilling depth of 19,3 m. The maximum diameter executable is 1500 mm along the mast and 2500 mm removing the bottom mast section. Besides performance and compactness, easy transport is the great advantage offered by the SR-45 LHR has a transport weight under the 40 tons and can be transported complete with the mast folded keeping  the Kelly bar fitted. It was also developed a LHR version for the CFA method that can drill 1000 mm diameter piles up to a depth of 8,5 m (without auger extension) with an overall height of 11,3 m.
