TEE Looks Forward To Demo International 2016

Terex Environmental Equipment (TEE) will be exhibiting a range of CBI Legacy Series equipment at the Demo International Equipment Show in Maple Ridge, British Columbia September 22-24. The three-day outdoor exhibit is where TEE will have its proven heavy equipment operating and processing material in front of a live audience. TBG 650 (CBI 5800BT) Horizontal Grinder will be joined alongside by the TBC 435 ChipMax Drum Chipper (CBI 484BP ChipMax). Both products are designed out of TEE’s Newton, NH facility and will be stationed at site A-19.

Known as the Canadian Woodlands’ flagship event, the Demo International Equipment Show is hosted by the Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia. It serves as part of the Demo International Conference and occurs only once every four years. The show, which last took place in Quebec in 2012, attracts forestry industry leaders across North America and around the world. Hours for the three-day equipment show are 9am – 5pm for its first two days and 9am – 4pm for the last day.

“This is a huge show for every manufacturer in the forest products industry and it provides us the opportunity to demonstrate our machines right alongside our competitors and we always welcome that opportunity,” said TEE North American Sales Director Art Murphy. “The machines we‘re bringing for Demo International are two proven products from the CBI Legacy line of equipment and we’re looking forward to showcase them in front of the Demo International audience. It’s been a great show for us in the past and we’re ready to make it a success once again.”

The TBG 650 is considered one of TEE’s most successful grinders due to its high production capabilities and friendly dimensions for minimal load restrictions and permitting. Weighing in at just 65,000 LBS the TBG 650 is ideal for land clearing companies, mulch yards and demolition wood processors who demand high throughput from a compact machine. Powered by a CAT C-18 765HP engine it features a heavy–duty forged drum rotor monitored by electronic sensors to alert the machine’s control system to reverse the feed wheel and infeed chains in the event of metal contamination. As a second line of defense against metal contamination the sacrificial tips on the strikers and shear pins on the grate frame serve as engineered-in weak points to concentrate the damage to low-cost components. This results in decreased downtime and money saved in part replacements.

Wood chipping contractors across North America, whether they are performing right-of-way clearing or in-the-woods chipping, have increasingly utilized the popular TBC 435 ChipMax as it has evolved over the years. The TBC 435 ChipMax is powered by a CAT C-18 765HP engine and it was designed for both European and North American end users as multiple chute configurations, infeed and rotor options are available to meet market demands.

As mentioned, TEE will be stationed at outdoor Booth A-19. Show attendees that are interested in learning about CBI Legacy grinders and chippers are encouraged to meet with the TEE sales and engineering personnel that will be on hand.
