The new Holder C 70 meets the latest European exhaust emission standard

Holder presents two new municipal vehicles, the C 70 SC and the C 70 TC. The multifunction, articulated implement carriers, successors of the C 270 and C 370, meet the European exhaust emission standard Stage IIIB as well as the American version Tier 4 final. Meeting these standards is possible through a new turbo-diesel engine with a diesel particulate filter and a modified exhaust system. For the first time, the award-winning Holder PowerDrive is included as a standard feature. The four strengthened wheel motors (400 cc) as well as the newly developed intelligent hydraulic steering and traction electronics ensure greater power capacity and lower fuel consumption. This means that approximately 30% fuel is saved while the top speed is higher even with smaller wheels. This saves time and cost.

Whereas the C in the new type designation stands for the series, 70 stands for the performance class with 70 HP and SC stands for single cab and TC for twin cab. The cab can be mounted in two heights depending on what the application requires and offers a permanent and perfect 360° view for greater safety.

Compared to the predecessors the wheelbase has been extended by 12 cm due to the larger engine. As a result the top mounted attachment space has been enlarged. In addition the tipping frame has been raised slightly and the tanks have been moved slightly towards the outside. Further new features are the 4-wheel brake that is unique in this vehicle category, an inner mudguard against dirt ingress, an electronic hand and foot control as well as a digital combi display to show different vehicle functions. The widely known benefits of the Holder system vehicles, such as manoeuvrability and track retention as well as the extremely good working and operating comfort are of course still part of the implement carriers. Moreover, the C 70 is equipped with hydraulic wheel-load compensation, a mechanical differential lock and a three-dimensional front lift.
