The two new TS 10065 and TS 10065 PRO rake models are equipped with a hydraulically adjustable working width of 8.80 – 10.00 metres and the TS 6 rake head, which impresses with its maintenance-free rotor arm mounting, and which is designed for extremely high loads thanks to its robustness. Both models are equipped with 18-inch wheels on the rotor chassis and are designed for a driving speed of up to 50 km/h.
The successor models of the tried-and-tested TS 10055 satisfy customer demand for greater working widths and high cutting power.
The TS 10065 and TS 10065 PRO models are equipped with a larger rotor head, known as the 6-head, enabling them to handle large swath volumes with optimum efficiency. This rake head with enclosed cam track is particularly impressive due to the maintenance-free mounting of its fifteen rotor arms, arranged at generous intervals, thus ensuring maximum stability. The twin mounting of the input shaft on the 6-head ensures optimum power transmission and smooth running.
To ensure even more convenience, the PRO variants are also equipped with electrohydraulic convenience operation as standard, with hydraulic working height adjustment and individual rotor lifting.
Both central rake models are characterised by a swath cloth that swings upwards automatically, overload protection for each rotor and a wide-angle drive shaft with freewheel fitted as standard. The headland raising mechanism has an automatic height limiter, The hydraulic transport lock for the rotors ensures an extremely high level of convenience, even on long working days.
The jet effect – as on an aircraft, when lowering first the rear, then the front wheels are lowered, and vice versa when lifting – prevents tines from getting caught in the ground. This gives substantial protection to both sward and machine and significantly improves the quality of the basic forage. The fully floating suspension of the rotors provides for outstanding ground following – despite the huge rotors diameter of 4.20 m.
As with all FELLA rakes with a chassis, the SteerGUARD rotating shaft steering on the TS 10065 and the TS 10065 PRO is positioned and protected within the frame. Unlike on other manufacturers' machines, it does not require several joints to transfer the steering movement to the transport wheels. This results in precisions steering, even after several years' use, and reduced wear. 15 tine arms with four double tines and four-wheel contact-sensing chassis with two rigid and two trailing wheels round off the high-quality technical equipment.
