Probst GmbH, with over 60 years of experience and a global presence, continues to lead in ergonomic and efficiency-enhancing innovations for construction sites.
Probst GmbH, the world market leader in lifting and installation technology, is launching an innovative load-lifting device on the market just in time for the September trade fairs: The SM-1200 stone magnet. The new device from the Swabian developer impresses with its impressive maximum load capacity of up to 1.2 tonnes.
‘Probst's mission is to make heavy work on the construction site easier. We have successfully achieved this with the SM-1200,’ says Probst Managing Director Eric Wilhelm.
This handy, powerful vacuum attachment, which is independent of the power supply, was specially developed for use on construction sites. It has been optimised as a further development of the Probst SM-600, which is well established on the market, for the laying of impermeable stone slabs, concrete elements, steps, stoneware pipes and other heavy materials.
Thanks to its robust design and the ability to connect it to any hoist, the SM-1200 from Probst is extremely versatile. Depending on the requirements, specially adapted suction plates are available, which can be attached to the device effortlessly and quickly via a quick-change interface.
Thanks to the modular and clearly organised arrangement of all units, servicing, repairs and upgrading the appliance are considerably simplified. Two powerful LED flashing lights visually indicate the operating status and warnings. Additional functions such as the suction filter and the sliding valve ensure a high level of operating convenience. The automatic, mechanical locking of the suction plates by gravity significantly increases safety during use.
‘With these comprehensive features, the SM-1200 from Probst will be an indispensable tool on every construction site,’ confirms Holger Merholz, responsible for sales at Probst GmbH. ‘We will be presenting the SM-1200 to trade visitors for the first time at trade fairs in the USA and Germany in September. The Probst GmbH is thus setting an innovative highlight at the NordBau and GaLaBau trade fairs.’
