Three different jobs in one pass: ARTIGLIO HYDRO CSS subsoiler

The new ARTIGLIO HYDRO CSS is equipped with the brand-new CSS frame, completely welded to improve reliability and reduce downtime. The new toolbar features with exclusive “wave” designed flanks and great soil clearance and gangs spacing (both 1 m) to ensure a perfect residue flow even at the deepest working depth (55 cm). The special shank design with progressive inclination (from 20° to 60°) improves soil penetration reducing HP requirements. On each shanks, a reversible front tip and two adjustable side deflectors are bolted on to shatter compacted soil layers.

The non-stop system with nitrogen accumulator and safety valve prevents frame from damages and reduces downtime resulting from shear bolts replacement. Once the obstacle is overcome, the system brings the shank back to its working position. The nitrogen accumulator capacities are 2 gal for the hydro-pneumatic models with 5 shanks and 17 liters for the versions with 7 and 9 shanks. On the back the ARTIGLIO HYDRO CSS can be equipped with a double spike roller or a double blade roller. Thanks to the unique blades shape, this roller (Ø 12-in.) improves drastically soil refinement quality and residue incorporation. ARTIGLIO HYDRO CSS requires from 150 to 390 HP, according to the working width (from 2,5 to 4 m) and the number of shanks (from 5 to 11).
