Trainee exchange: “Broaden their horizons“

At the beginning of July 2016, a trainee exchange took place between the Bavarian drive manufacturer ABM Greiffenberger, Marktredwitz and the Austrian manufacturer of chips and pellets heating systems, the company Hargassner with its seat in Weng / Innkreis.

Two trainees from each company visited the other company for one week in turn. On the part of ABM Greiffenberger, Florian Lippert (tool mechanic in his 3rd year of training) and Dominik Hille (mechatronics engineer in his 3rd year of training) had the opportunity to get to know the products and processes of the other company and to discover a lot of new things. "The time spent at Hargassner was very interesting. We got an insight in the different production departments and all the processes were optimally explained and shown to us", thus the unanimous opinion of the ABM trainees.

ABM Greiffenberger is Hargassner’s long-standing supplier for energy-efficient shaft-mounted and helical geared motors as well as Sinochron motors for pellets and biomass heating systems.
