Peter Dittmers new CSO at ABM Greiffenberger

The specialist for electrical drive systems ABM Greiffenberger hired a new Chief Sales Officer. Since April Peter Dittmers is responsible for planning, controlling and organizing all sales activities of the company located in Marktredwitz / Upper Franconia. The 59-year old graduate engineer brings decades of experience; he was sales director for several major companies in the past.

After completing his studies as an electrical engineer at the Technical University of Hamburg Peter Dittmers started his career at Alfred Teves GmbH, Frankfurt, as research and development engineer. After that he was with Mannesmann Demag for 10 years and advanced to become director of sales. Since 1995 Dittmers worked as director of sales at Getriebebau Nord GmbH located in Bargteheide (Schleswig-Holstein) and in 2001 he was promoted to Managing Director Sales.

The ardent swimmer and mountain biker is excited about his new assignment at ABM Greiffenberger: “I set myself a whole series of goals. One of them is the introduction of process-oriented global sales. The customers worldwide shall be supplied quickly and reliably with the products and solutions they desire. I do not only want to generate customer satisfaction, but also make it measurable. Successful work in sales and distribution is also reflected in good sales figures. Therefore, it is my aim to raise the turnover considerably. In order to reach a very high customer satisfaction, I want to make the sales department even more efficient and to organize it in a strategically optimal way. 
For our customers, the parameters quality, on-time deliveries, price and global availability are of a very high importance. Here we have invested a lot over the past years in order to meet the customers’ requirements. Global delivery logistics is also an elementary topic for us.
