VIRAT- fresa fissa

VIRAT is a new fixed rotary tiller manufactured by Maschio Gaspardo, which made its world preview at SIMA 2015.

With a working width of 125 to 205 cm, VIRAT is an extremely valid tool for small- and medium-sized plots of land. With a working depth of 18 cm and a number of blades ranging from 36 in the most compact version to 60 in the widest version (with a total of 6 different models), this rotary tiller guarantees excellent performance on any type of land.

The PTO speed is 540 rpm. The standard version has 6 blades per flange and a new gearbox with 2.75 litre oil sump whereas the side chain drive is in oil bath.

Weighing from 347 to 461 kg, VIRAT can be used with tractors ranging from 30 - 60 HP (for the most compact version) to 50-60 HP (for the largest version).

Finally, its excellent price/quality ratio makes it a very interesting new product on the tiller market.

NEW DUO-CONE SEALING AND O-RING

VIRAT is equipped with a new sealing system guarantees great reliability with no maintenance:

• Metal Duo-cone sealing of rotor hub supports allows oil bath lubrication (improved performance comparing to grease) and longer life on heavy duty. 50% extended lasting  reduced maintenance

• With this sealing system the tiller can be defined amphibious: it can work in water or very dusty environments, as a Rice fields, with the best protection for bearings

• O-Ring sealing instead of paper ones help to match the best isolation and make maintenance operations easier.
