Spain’s Ership receives the best-performing bulk handling mobile harbor crane from Konecranes
Spanish maritime transport company Ership received in September 2023 a Generation 6 ESP.9B Konecranes Gottwald Mobile Harbor Crane with hybrid drive for their terminal in Gijón, northern Spain. Jungheinrich supplies automated small parts warehouse for Güde GmbH
Güde GmbH has commissioned Jungheinrich to build a fully automated small parts warehouse for its production site in Plettenberg, Sauerland. The manufacturer of spring washers, bent wire parts and screw and shaft locking devices intends to expand its capacities and streamline processes in order to respond to its steady growth and prepare for future growth. "In order to meet the increased challenges facing our company, we are delighted to have found the ideal partner in Jungheinrich to automate our small parts storage in our new building in Plettenberg," says Managing Director Lutz Güde, whose company previously only used manual industrial trucks and racking systems. Komatsu announces plans to acquire U.S.-based manufacturer American Battery Solutions, Inc.
Komatsu Ltd. (President and CEO: Hiroyuki Ogawa) (hereafter “Komatsu”), through its wholly owned subsidiary in the U.S., Komatsu America Corp. (Chairman and CEO: Rodney Schrader), has agreed to acquire American Battery Solutions, Inc. (Founder, Chairman and CEO: Subhash Dhar) (hereafter “ABS”), a battery manufacturer headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, U.S. Komatsu is planning to close the acquisition on 1st Dec, 2023, on the condition that all necessary procedures for the closing are completed.
