Dash 5 paver renews serpentine road to Germany's highest castle ruins

The Vögele (WIRTGEN Group) SUPER 1800-5 X road paver was deployed to renew a steep, narrow, and winding 2 km road leading to the Falkenstein castle ruins, Germany's highest castle ruins, and nearby gourmet hotel and restaurant. Sascha Böck from Josef Böck GmbH managed the complex project, navigating the challenging terrain with a compact and precise paver featuring SmartWheel steering and adjustable screed. Operator Tatjana Drexler highlighted the machine's enhanced controls and quick adaptability. The project's success restored access to the important tourist destinations. SD-28L – a new disc mower from ROZMITAL

Strojírny Rožmitál, a Czech manufacturer of agricultural machinery, has launched the SD-28L, a new front-mounted disc mower featuring a 2.8-meter working width. Designed to meet the demand for higher performance and ease of use, the SD-28L combines a lightweight design with durable construction, hydraulic folding, and impact protection. It is suitable for operation with tractors as low as 42 kW (55 HP), making it compatible with older models. The mower is intended for standard forage crops and boasts features such as quick-release blade discs and a swath-forming plate, enabling efficient operation with a performance capacity of up to 2.7 hectares per hour.
