Nokian Tyres has expanded its Ground Kare product line with the new 500/45-22.5 tire size, specifically developed for 7- to 12-tonne wheeled excavators and 5-tonne compact wheel loaders. These tires offer high stability, soil protection, excellent puncture resistance, and are particularly quiet and comfortable during road transport. They serve as a direct replacement for dual tires and prevent common issues such as stones getting stuck between tire pairs. Finnish excavator contractor Sami Isomäki has already reported the benefits of Ground Kares tires, which outperform dual tires even in demanding terrain conditions.
