Trade Press Tour at NordBau 2025: Site Visit to the Rader High Bridge

A new eastern section is expected by 2026, diverting traffic and enabling the old bridge's dismantlement, followed by the construction of the western section to complete the project by 2030. Successful Demo for New Develon Series 9 Excavator

Develon, formerly Doosan Construction Equipment, showcased its new DX230LC-9 23-tonne crawler excavator and E-STOP safety system during a successful field demonstration at a test site in Compiègne, France. The event was organized by OPPBTP in collaboration with Bouygues, part of the Seine–Nord Europe Canal project. Attended by representatives from major construction firms and government officials, the demonstration highlighted the E-STOP system, which stops the machine when a person is within 4 meters, supported by multiple cameras and radars. Recycling with the 25 t ATLAS material handling machine

AAS Altwagen Abholservice Wolfgang Schneider GmbH, a certified specialist in waste disposal and dismantling located in Reichelsheim, Hesse, is advancing in the recycling of electric vehicles, having processed around 400 last year. The company has acquired a second ATLAS 250 MH material handling machine to manage the growing volume of end-of-life vehicles efficiently. Equipped with a 129 kW/175 hp engine and ATLAS AWE-5 hydraulics, the machine features a multi-shell grab with a lifting capacity of up to 15 tons. AAS, a long-term client of ATLAS Nordhessen, benefits from the machine’s robust and economical design, including operating modes that minimize fuel consumption. The machine's cab, extendable to a height of 5.52 meters, offers a superior vantage point and a quiet workspace for operators. AAS operates a fleet of 10 HGVs, collecting and recycling various vehicles across Hesse. They partner with ATLAS Nordhessen, a part of the MSG Maschinen Service Group, which provides continuous support and service from multiple bases in northern and central Hesse and Saxony-Anhalt, emphasizing the importance of selecting the right machinery for efficient operations.
