Pioneering project for CO2 reduction: SENNEBOGEN presents material handlers made from “green steel” at bauma 2025

SENNEBOGEN Maschinenfabrik in collaboration with steel producer Salzgitter AG, plans to present the 830 G material handler made from CO2-reduced "green steel" at bauma 2025. This initiative, a part of Salzgitter's SALCOS® program, aims to drastically reduce CO2 emissions in steel production by up to 95%. SENNEBOGEN's goal to achieve climate neutrality by 2030 involves integrating sustainable processes and creating low-emission machines. The new 830 G, developed with DEUMU, highlights a 20-ton CO2 saving per machine through both production and operational efficiencies. Following its exhibition at the trade fair, this innovative machine will be utilized in steel scrap handling at DEUMU, further supporting SENNEBOGEN's commitment to sustainable technology advancements in mechanical engineering.
