A good driving feel in the tractor is not a luxury, but assists the driver in operating his vehicle safely, stress-free and attentive. As a system provider, ZF offers cabin suspensions (Fig. 19) for all applications in the tractor - including springs, vibration dampers and rubber-metal components. The individual modules of the cabin suspension are coordinated with each other down to the finest detail. The customer receives an optimum solution tailored to the respective requirements and the respective weight category. Drivers benefit from a more comfortable workplace with fewer jolts, pitching and rolling motions. The broad range of vibration dampers starting from steel-spring suspensions to the CDC electronic damping system allows for different comfort standards. As many tractors are also used on roads, it is especially there that drivers profit from the truck-like driving conditions. A cabin tilting function can be integrated.

At the Agritechnica, ZF will also be demonstrating its electromechanical Active Roll Stabilization (Fig. 20) which is installed on the front stabilizer. This way, the driver's cabin is actively held in a stabile position. A special control unit, which receives signals on the driving condition from sensors, controls the cabin suspension by means of an electromechanical actuator. The respective driving condition is recognized within a split second and, consequently, the driver's cabin is immediately, actively stabilized.
