Antonio Carraro exhibits at Sitevi

• Antonio Carraro is participating in SITEVI 2023, a major event for the wine and olive oil sector, where it will showcase a selection of tractors with hybrid mechanical-hydrostatic and mechanical transmission, designed for vineyards, orchards, and rowed crops.

• The Infinity Series models, including the SR 7600 Infinity, TR 7600 Infinity, TR 5800 Infinity, and the new SRG 7600 Infinity, will be on display. These compact tractors feature hydrostatic transmission, reversible steering, and are designed for precision work.

• The TR 5800 Infinity is a new model with a 52hp Stage 5 power capacity, designed for green area maintenance and specialized agriculture. It features a solid chassis, excellent lifting and working capacity, and a newly developed hydraulic system.

• The SRG 7600 Infinity is the first tractor model specifically designed for crops on raised beds in greenhouses. It features a low driver's seat, a ground clearance of 60 cm, and a maximum wheel diameter of 32 inches.

• The TONY Series, the star of the show at Sitevi 2023, represents the cutting edge of AC production. It includes models with a hybrid mechanical-hydrostatic transmission run on software and the latest TONY 8900 TRG models with different-sized steering wheels.

• The TORA Series offers unprecedented technical solutions and hydraulic capacities for the 50 to 60hp power range. The model on display at Sitevi is the SRX 6800 Tora, a reversible and articulated isodiametric tractor with a 66 hp Stage 5 engine.

• The Major Series offers compact 'basic' 49.7 hp vehicles featuring exclusive technical solutions and first-class operating comfort. The SN V 5800 is the "leanest" and most agile model in the Series, offering a tight steering angle and outstanding manoeuvrability.

• The Ergit R range, designed for those who work in extreme conditions, will be represented at Sitevi 2023 by the TGF 8900 R, fitted with a Kubota, Common Rail, diesel, Stage 5 engine with 74.2 hp power. This model is designed for farmers working under leafy crops in extreme situations.

Antonio Carraro is taking part in the most eagerly awaited event for operators in the wine and olive oil sector: SITEVI 2023, will be held from 28 to 30 November at the Parc des Expositions in Montpellier (F). At Sitevi, Antonio Carraro will be exhibiting a selection of tractors with a hybrid mechanical-hydrostatic and mechanical transmission, specialised for working in vineyards, orchards and all rowed crops even on difficult ground conditions.

The Infinity Series models, being compact tractors with a hydrostatic transmission and reversible steering, have become increasingly popular amongst the latest AC tractors designed for precision work with technical solutions. The models on display at Sitevi are the SR 7600 Infinity, a narrow track, articulated, isodiametric tractor, the TR 7600 Infinity with a steering chassis, the TR 5800 Infinity, recently introduced in the range, and the brand new SRG 7600 Infinity.

The Infinity transmission is the common denominator of the range: it allows for work to be carried out in both drive directions at the same speed: from 0-15 with the mechanical working range and from 0-40 km/h with the mechanical road range. Each mechanical range comes with 3 hydraulic ranges, which can be engaged manually or with an automatic gearbox, without loss of traction. The forward motion pedal assists braking also on slopes by stopping the vehicle when it is released without using the brakes. The Cruise Control (or Tempomat), Limit RPM, Intellifix, Drive Mode, Fast Revers, and Uniflex suspension functions allow the operator to always find the setting best suited to the task at hand. The clutch, on the Infinity models, is only used for moving off and acts as a safety device should the machine need to be stopped immediately. The electro-hydraulic inverter on the steering wheel is extremely practical for forward and reverse manoeuvres, even repetitive ones, without having to use the clutch. The brakes are almost never used because the accelerator pedal not only controls forward movement but also decelerates the tractor bringing it to a standstill: the entire transmission is controlled with the accelerator pedal alone.

The TR 5800 Infinity represents a real new entry with its unprecedented 52hp Stage 5 power capacity; this model finds its greatest use in green area maintenance but it is no less suitable for specialised agriculture. It is an isodiametric tractor with steering wheels fitted with reversible steering on an RGSTM revolving control tower featuring a central tunnel, free from levers, which facilitates access aboard and guarantees operating comfort. The vehicle’s compactness, the availability of various types of tyres, including low-pressure grass tyres along with the on-board electronics run on software, determine manoeuvrability and extreme simplicity of use whilst offering full protection of the soil. The solid chassis, derived from the larger series, guarantees excellent lifting and working capacity with equipment normally considered heavy for the traditional 50 HP hydrostatic tractors currently available on the market. Its excellent stability, combined with the perception of safety renders the tractor exceptional in its category. The control functions of the torque derived from the PTO and the torque absorbed by the wheels protect the PTO and the engine even in critical situations. The newly developed hydraulic system offers up to 13 rear couplings. In the 'top' hydraulic configuration, the TR 5800 Infinity is equipped with 6 double-effect distributers, one of which has a lock position and hydraulic flow adjustment and another one is floating. There is zero pressure oil return.

The SRG 7600 Infinity is the first tractor model specifically designed for crops on raised beds in greenhouses (vegetables, strawberries, etc.), homologated. Its acronym stands for Articulated (S) Tractor, Reversible with Large Gearbox. It is a unique tractor characterised by a low driver's seat, a ground clearance of 60 cm and a maximum wheel diameter of 32 inches. The low driver's seat prevents the operator from working in a bent over position, while the variable track width from 1.1 to 1.5 m and the ground clearance allow the tractor to adapt perfectly to different types of crops, such as cutting production or potato cultivation.

The SRG is a versatile and easy-to-use tractor. Its Infinity hydrostatic transmission allows its forward speed to be regulated progressively, accurately and without jerking. The maximum steering angle provided by the articulated frame facilitates movements within the narrow spaces of greenhouses, making entry and exit manoeuvres easier. The reversible steering allows equipment to be used on both sides of the tractor with full visibility over it.

All this translates into excellent performance in the most difficult working situations.

The TONY Series

The best of the AC hydrostatics

The TONY Series is the star of the show at Sitevi 2023. It is made up of models with a hybrid mechanical-hydrostatic transmission run on software and the latest TONY 8900 TRG models with different-sized steering wheels; TONY 11700 V, quoted as “new product” at Sitevi Innovation Award 2023, TONY V narrow and TONY V super narrow 1m, which are all conventional-frame tractors; Mach 4 TONY, the first and only reversible quad track with a cab, an articulated-frame and a hydrostatic transmission, which was a finalist in the Best of Specialized category for Tractor of the Year 2023 and last but not least our famous isodiametric, reversible TONY 8900 SR with its articulated chassis.

The TONY Series represents the cutting edge of AC production. It consists of models with a hybrid mechanical-hydrostatic transmission run on software with SIM - Shift In Motion technology: it offers 4 electronically controlled speed ranges, which can be engaged from a standstill or on the move. It is its compact transmission with automatic functions managed by the ITAC (Intelligent Tractor AC) operating system, such as the Tractor Management Control (TMC), that simplifies all driver operations. This centralised control is designed to ensure that the tractor is always working in optimum conditions, in terms of cost savings and productivity. The system guarantees several functions, including maintaining its parameters while at work, even during changes in uphill and downhill slopes. ITAC contains all the safety systems and monitoring of the tractor’s diagnostics for scheduled vehicle maintenance. The operator can set, customise and save the parameters for each task and access any chosen combination when necessary as well as make any changes during the various phases in accordance with any variation in the terrain and type of cultivation. Its speed is independent of the engine revolutions: both can be programmed separately. The speed range is from 40 m/h to 40 km/h.

New TONY 8900 TRG

Reversible steering with 72.4 hp - Stage 5 engine - it is the new hydrostatic of the series, featuring differentiated wheels (with the rear wheels up to 24"). This tractor has great traction and ground clearance making it agile when carrying out tasks amongst rowed crops on uneven terrain, even in the presence of high crop residues such as cuttings from pruning. It is also suitable for ploughing. It combines, like no other AC model, strength, stability, compactness and precision. On-board comfort is enhanced by the cab with its spacious and very comfortable driver's seat which provides a large, liveable operating space. As an option, it can be fitted with a pressurised, ROPS and FOPS approved Air cab which is available with Cat. 4 certification that guarantees the operator protection from the harmful inhalation of dust, aerosols and vapour.

TONY 8700 V / 11700 V

New hydrostatic conventional-frame tractors

A finalist in the prestigious Tractor of the Year 2021 awards with the 8700 model and quoted as “new product” at Sitevi Innovation Award 2023 with the 11700 model, the Tony V represents the first conventional-frame, mono-directional, cab-mounted AC tractor and thus expands the already vast choice of 'tailor-made' models for each and every AC customer.

The TONY V are versatile tractors, designed for rowed crops and are specialists in carrying out precision tasks by operators who need to work with a combination of different equipment. Operating comfort is provided by a spacious driver's seat with ergonomically positioned controls and digital functions that simplify the task at hand. Furthermore, the machine's versatility of use is ensured by the possibility of being able to fit rear, front and ventral pieces of equipment. Its design and construction make it particularly agile in places where manoeuvrability and trajectory precision are crucial.

They are now available in two Deutz, direct-injection, Common Rail, 4-cylinder, 16-valve, 2924 cc turbo diesel engines with intercooler. For both versions the dimensions remain compact, with a minimum width of just 980 mm.

The hydraulic system consists of mechanical gear pumps and a variable piston hydraulic pump. Load-sensing management and an oversized pipe circuit reduce pressure losses enabling it to operate at low engine revolutions with high hydraulic flow rates. It offers a solution that drastically lowers the environmental impact (CO2) by reducing fuel consumption. The hydraulic tank capacity is 35 l and has two Zero-Pressure outlets: one at the rear and one on the ventral section. Its hydraulic flow goes up to 137 l/min (with extra flow) and has a variable displacement pump that is only activated when in use. The hydraulic system offers up to 9 independent electronic double-effect distributors (4 rear and 5 ventral).

The TONY V tractors come fitted with the AIR V cab as standard, which features the most technologically advanced driving position in the entire AC range. The driving position is located on a spacious platform suspended on silent-blocks. The low centre of gravity and minimalist central tunnel grant the operator easy access and a comfortable, anti-fatigue position. While at work, there is a direct view over the rear equipment, which gives the operator the sensation of being “above” it. The smaller front wheels provide a steering angle of 55° with an extremely tight turning circle and up to 10° oscillation. The cab with four uprights is spacious and equipped with every comfort; it provides automatic climate control that can be controlled from the digital display on the driver's console. It is pressurised in Cat. 2 or 4 and is FOPS and ROPS approved.

All the headlights for traffic circulation are LED and the rear ones are integrated into the roof: their raised position is useful for increasing visibility in the space around the tractor, even with mounted equipment. The rear-view mirrors can be adjusted electrically, as an optional extra.

Mach4 TONY

Quad track with hydrostatic transmission - FINALIST Tractor of the Year 2023 - Best of Specialized

Available with two engines at 73.2hp Stage 5 and at 96.7hp 3B for the Italian market, the Mach4 TONY is a unique model: it is a reversible quad track tractor, fitted with 4 rubber tracks with a minimum width of 1300 mm, that has a hydrostatic transmission on an articulated chassis. It comes with a pressurised and air-conditioned AIR cab with ROPS - FOPS Cat. 4 certification. It is a tractor with interconnectable electronics suitable for Agriculture 4.0 that can guarantee maximum efficiency in crop spraying while respecting the soil cover in sophisticated organic farming processes. This tractor adapts well to working conditions that other tractors find impractical, offering stability and operational safety at the highest level.

The 4 tracks are an AC solution developed and tested in 2007, which has seen the introduction of the new rubber "Tracks" capable of high performance in the field, with minimum soil compaction and capable of excellent performance when carrying out tasks on vertical or lateral slopes, on slippery terrain, in mud and on sand. Its maximum speed with road homologation (not given to classic tracked vehicles) is 30 km/h.

The TORA Series

The 50 - 66 hp Professionals

The Tora Series offers unprecedented technical solutions and hydraulic capacities for the 50 to 60hp power range. The Gearbox and PTO are the same as those used in the AC flagship Series. The driver's seat is placed on a platform suspended on silent-blocks to ensure maximum operating comfort. The overall dimensions are extremely compact in all the models with both 52 and 66hp engines, available in 6 different configurations with an ACTIOTM oscillating, articulated chassis or with steering wheels, mono-directional or with RGSTM reversible steering. What sets this Tora Series of tractors apart is their advanced hydraulics and high-level operating comfort.

The model on display at Sitevi is the SRX 6800 Tora, a reversible and articulated isodiametric tractor with a 66 hp Stage 5 engine. Agile and narrow at only 98 cm, it is the ideal tractor for rowed crops. Easily manoeuvrable, thanks to its articulated frame and short wheelbase, it is fitted with double, oil bath, disk brakes and an integrated mechanical Superbrake system. In addition, the powerful load-sensing hydraulic system, with a flow rate of over 50 l/min, allows the tractor to be fitted with a variety of either trailing or push along equipment. The new Hydraulic Remote Control device allows complete management of the tractor’s equipment. It can be fitted with the new 4-upright, REDCab on request.

The Major Series

The professional basic

The Major Series offers compact 'basic' 49.7 hp vehicles (Yanmar 4-cyl. aspirated Stage 5 engine) featuring exclusive technical solutions and first-class operating comfort. Three configurations are available: two with steering chassis, TCF and TN, and an articulated-chassis model, SN V, on display at Sitevi. The solidity and simplicity of the Major Series will satisfy customers looking for a 'spartan' vehicle for intensive use.

The SN V 5800 is the "leanest" and most agile model in the Series, offering a tight steering angle and outstanding manoeuvrability. The transmission consists of 12 forward and 12 reverse gears with 4 synchronised speed ratios, 3 working ranges and an inverter located on the central tunnel. It has multiple oil bath, disk brakes. The PTO is independent and the power lift offers a capacity of 2200 kg, thus allowing it to work with all professional equipment. Routine maintenance is rendered easy thanks to the bonnet with its large vertical opening.

The R Series

Compact top of the range

The tractors in the Ergit R range are designed for those who work in extreme conditions. They can be defined as a distillate of top-level design and performance. Ergonomic despite their small size, they represent a real turning point for those working amongst rowed crops.

On display at Sitevi 2023 is the TGF 8900 R, fitted with a Kubota, Common Rail, diesel, Stage 5 engine with 74.2 hp power. This mono-directional model with larger rear wheels is the specialist tractor par excellence for farmers working under leafy crops in extreme situations: on slopes, on uneven terrain, in greenhouses. With the TGF, the operator is granted the lowest driving position in its category: only 1740 mm from the ground.

Its excellent traction, achieved thanks to the equal distribution of its weight over the ground, provides this tractor with perfect ground grip and low soil compaction. The TGF 8900 R is available with a rollbar or with a super-low-profile Protector 100 cab, which is pressurised and certified in Category 4 thus guaranteeing total operator protection from dust, gas and aerosols.
