BORBET is a leading manufacturer of alloy car wheels. In response to rising demand, the enterprise is increasing production capacity, and will create 500 jobs at its new facility in Kodersdorf, Saxony, Germany. Eisenmann will provide an end-to-end paint shop, including pretreatment, powder coating, and two heat-treatment systems. Nearly all of BORBET’s wheels are manufactured using painting and heat-treatment technology from Eisenmann.
“BORBET is a family-owned company, and a trusted OEM partner in the automotive industry. It has a long tradition of excellence, and is committed to manufacturing products of the highest quality,” explains Rainer Dürkop, CEO of BORBET Sachsen GmbH. “To this end, we need reliable and streamlined processes. And we need suppliers with the corresponding production technology expertise. BORBET and Eisenmann enjoy a successful and enduring relationship, and will continue to work hand-inhand in Kodersdorf.”
Eisenmann systems have been implemented at multiple BORBET production plants in Europe and the USA. In Kodersdorf, installation work will begin in late 2015, and commissioning is slated for May 2016.
