Enteco new patented SP-JET

ENTECO New Patented SP-JET (Soil Displacement + Injection), intends to improve the penetration of the tool in difficult soils with the aid of high-pressure injection of liquids or of biodegradable foams that reduce the wear of the tool and increase its penetration in the ground.

The high-pressure pump for the injection of fluid(s) can be activated manually or can be programmed to automatically start pumping according to the stiffness of the soil.

The system consists of:

1. Injection Swivel: the swivel features up to 4 passages that allow the fluids to be pumped through the Kelly and down to the SP tool. It is mounted between the concrete swivel and the Kelly;

2. Coupling Joints: Enteco’s patented couplers have been redesigned to incorporate the passages for the fluid, or fluids, and are fitted with high-pressure seals. There can be from 1 up to 4 passages to allow single or multiple injections of fluid;

3. Sp Tool: the SP tool, besides the inner concrete tube, accommodates the additional pipes that carry the high-pressure injected fluids. The nozzles, adequately positioned at the tip of the tool, let the fluids out to disaggregate the soil and improve the penetration of the tool.

SP-JET can be used in combination with the ENTECO New Patented SP-TT, during both the pre-drilling and the reaming. In fact the fluid passages are built in the Kelly sections and inside the SP tool until its bottom tip.
