Grimme UK: open the doors to launch its new exhibition and training centre

Great Britain is one of the most important markets for Grimme Landmaschinenfabrik. Back in 1993 Grimme UK opened its doors in Sleaford, Lincolnshire becoming the first Grimme Landmaschinenfabrik subsidiary. Beginning with only seven members of staff and a small dealer network it soon grew and today a total of 80 employees work for Grimme UK.

March the 12th saw the official opening by Mr. Franz and Mrs Christine Grimme of the 1800 m² extension to the parts and service departments, along with the construction of a new 1200 m² sales building which houses both new and used machinery. The introduction of the training facilities TECHNICOM within the main building was also opened on the 12th. TECHNICOM stands for TECHNical, Information and COMunication, and is designed primarily as the UK headquarters for Training which also incorporates the Grimme Academy.
