INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: BERTHOUD quality CCC certified to market its sprayers in China

On May 12th, 2015 BERTHOUD officially obtained Chinese CCC certification for 32 models in its sprayer range. BERTHOUD is now the first French sprayer manufacturer to obtain CCC approval to market its equipment in China.

On 12th May 2015, the Beijing CAM Quality Certification Center (China Certification Center for Agricultural Machinery) awarded CCC approval to 32 models in the BERTHOUD sprayer range.

12 vineyards and orchards models were certified and 20 field crops models will now bear the triple C mark when they arrive in China.

CCC marking (abbreviation for China Compulsory Product Certification) is the Chinese equivalent of EC marking in Europe. Its objective is to protect consumers by ensuring that products released for sale on the Chinese market meet international standards. It has been applied since August 2003.

Nearly 250 Chinese companies are CCC-certified in the agricultural machinery sector and around twenty foreign companies have obtained this approval.

BERTHOUD is one of the companies which have the highest number of approved products in the machinery sector, which marks the French manufacturer's ambition to make a contribution to the modernisation and development of Chinese agriculture.

This certification has been awarded for a 5-year period from May 2015 and supports the establishment of the BERTHOUD network in China.
