  • MESDA introduces the S12, a full-electric plug-in screening plant, to the European market.

  • The S12 features triple-shaft screening technology, low operating costs, and virtually emission-free operation.

  • The S12 is CE-compliant, TÜV Rheinland certified, and integrates seamlessly with other MESDA systems.

  • The S12 is designed for demanding applications in sectors like natural stone, mining, and recycling.

  • The electric drive of the S12 enhances energy efficiency and reduces CO2 emissions, supporting compliance with strict regulations.

  • Fully electric plug-in operation with high performance and energy efficiency

  • Specially designed for the European market with optimized transport dimensions

  • Proven triple-shaft screen box with tree decks and 12 square metres of screening area for each deck

As one of the first providers in Europe, MESDA is now adding a full-electric plug-in screening plant to its portfolio with the S12. The high-end solution combines performance with high energy efficiency and optimised transportability. Thanks to its outstanding triple-shaft screening technology, low operating costs and virtually emission-free operation, the S12 is ideal for demanding applications in virgin material and recycling. In addition, the triple-deck screener with its drive concept enables ideal integration into existing MESDA systems.

“The S12 mobile high-performance screener has been specially adapted to the requirements of the European market,” says Enrico Kallmeyer, Managing Director of MESDA Deutschland GmbH & Co KG. “It ensures optimum processing of demanding bulk materials such as high-grade chips or special aggregates with exceptional quality and high performance at the same time.” With the S12, users who previously relied on stationary solutions now have a mobile solution with the required quality and throughput. With a transport width of just three metres and a total weight of around 42 tonnes, it enables comparatively simple and cost-effective road transport despite its high performance. Like all MESDA systems for the European market, the S12 is CE-compliant and certified by TÜV Rheinland. It is optimally integrated into the MESDA system and can be flexibly combined with other machines from the manufacturer. This opens up a wide range of possible applications and facilitates customisation to individual requirements. The S12 offers clear advantages for medium-sized to large companies in sectors such as natural stone, mining and recycling, as it fulfils the highest material requirements and supports emission-free production.

Energy efficiency through electric drive

A special feature of the S12 is its fully electric plug-in operation. Compared to hydraulic systems, the electric drive offers improved efficiency and reduces energy consumption and costs. In operation, the screener stands out with a maximum possible power consumption of up to 82 kW. Additional energy efficiency is provided by the option of operating the system via the generator of an upstream crusher or external power generator if required. The full-electric configuration of the S12 helps to reduce the CO2 footprint of material processing. This is particularly beneficial for companies that have to prove their emissions as part of increasingly strict regulations. “The full-electric operation of the S12 allows our customers to reduce their operating costs and contribute to environmental protection at the same time,” explains Kallmeyer. “In combination with its high performance, these features make the S12 a future-orientated solution in the construction materials industry and in mining.”
