MASCHIO GASPARDO GROUP KEEPS INVESTING IN ITALY AND ACQUIRES 100% SHARES OF CREMONA BASED FERABOLI.

Maschio Gaspardo Group, Italian manufacturing leader in production of agricultural equipment as tillage, seeding, crop protection and landscaping, proudly announces the acquisition of Feraboli Spa remaining 40% shares to hold the entire 100%.

President Egidio Maschio’s announcement was given during SIMA 2015 in Paris, one of the main European agricultural exibition. The Group attended the show with more than 60 products and sereval novelties as ploughs, fertilizer spreader and self-propelled sprayer.

Maschio Gaspardo bought the initial 60% of hay line product manufacturer Feraboli shares back in January 2014, aiming to complete its own product portfolio to offer a full – line to dealers and distributors worldwide.

During the 2014 Maschio Gaspardo Group heavely invested in Feraboli plant for the mordenization, production processes reorganization and spare parts logistic management, to reduce lead time and improve efficiencies. More in details, a completly new production layout has been set, based on three dedicated lines for fix and variable chamber balers. The investments covered a new spare parts warehouse, a new shipping area and renoveted painting system to enhance the product’s quality. Moreover the Group integrated IT system SAP has been implemented in Feraboli plant.

Such a massive reorganization process takes an additional step through a wider Group’s Lean production project started by the Group in 2014 and embracing all Maschio Italian facilities, following the last few years fast growth led by the Company.

The renoveted Feraboli’s plant is aimed to become a worldwide excellence for the production of hay making tools. The full acquistion of Feraboli Spa shares highlights the Maschio Family firm wish to keep leading the Group and investing in those strategic territories where Feraboli is rooted.
