PM, Oil & Steel and Valla participate at Bauma 2019, the most important world fair for construction machinery, held in Munich from 8 to 14 April. For the occasion, the Manitex Group - which includes PM, the first Italian manufacturer of hydraulic cranes for trucks, Oil & Steel, specialized in the production of aerial platforms and Valla, leader in the world of industrial self-propelled cranes - presents the news of its vast offer in two stands, one inside (B4 n.339) and one outside (FS stand n. 1306 /), covering a total area of over 500 square meters.
Starting from PM, which continues the completion of the light crane range with the introduction of new models from 8 to 11 tons/meter, it expands the Heavy range with the debut of the PM 50.5 crane destined for the European and extra-EC market, and renews and invests even more decisively in technology, implementing two new radio control systems, G2B - Frame with display 128x64 pixel (display white and black backlight), BMS – HL Color with display 2,8” (color display). A third model, the G2B – Full HD with display 4,3” (color display) it will instead be available soon.
But one of the strengths of PM is also the great attention paid to its customers to whom it offers an even more flexible and customizable level of service, in addition to the high quality assistance and maintenance guaranteed by a global network of professionals and by the use of original spare parts.
There is news also for Oil & Steel, which confirms its position as a leader in Europe in the sector of reference and among the first worldwide groups for work at height. The company offers new platforms that can be mounted on Isuzu and Iveco trucks, as well a complete new model on Ford pick-ups. The priority objective for Oil & Steel is occupational safety to reduce accident rates, which is why all the machines are equipped with sophisticated systems designed to minimize these risks. The "green economy" is one of the most important points where our experienced engineering team has concentrated in the last few years. The company has in fact designed a battery-powered Octopus, specific for indoor use, with tracks and anti-stain stabilizers, aimed precisely at reducing energy consumption and natural resources in favor of sustainable production and consumption models.
Finally, for Valla a super-technological range of mini-cranes is now available, offering the possibility of being controlled remotely. An example is the V70E, which is very performing because its central area of the load chart can hold up to 9 tons. The machine certainly more performing in its rank.
The three brands are committed to solutions related to industry 4.0, predictive diagnostics, connectivity and sensors, to adapt to a growing trend of industrial automation that integrates some new production technologies to improve working conditions, create new models of business and increase the productivity and the productive quality of the machines.
These are just some of the new products that PM Oil & Steel S.p.A. launches on the market and will let the general public of the Bauma 2019 be discovered. But the most important international event in the construction sector will also be an opportunity to celebrate 60 years of PM. Founded in 1959, the company has a consolidated tradition of technology and innovation that has allowed it to build solid professional relationships and conquer ever more extensive market shares, in Italy and abroad. Currently the PM product range has more than 50 series, with over 350 possible configurations.
