Precision farming: PRIMO HYDRO ISOBUS spreader

PRIMO HYDRO ISOBUS is the brand-new spreader by Maschio Gaspardo with hydraulic distribution delivery system and Isobus technology. By these two systems we drastically improved the spreading quality and monitoring. The hydraulic distribution system allows to modify the rate continuously according to yield maps, making PRIMO HYDRO the perfect spreader for precision farming operations. Inside the hopper the rate is defined by a double shutter: a system manages the rapid opening and closing of the first shutter, the second one manages the flow and allows a more accurate calibration. A rotating head with a spider shape has designed to convey the granular fertilizer towards the distribution system. A bearing inside the head prevents excessive rotation assuring maximum fertilizer integrity. A calibrated arm allows to anticipate or postpone the fertilizer drop point on the discs, in function of the physical properties of the fertilizer. For fertilizers which have a higher sliding coefficient the tendency is to postpone the drop point on the disc, avoiding the fertilizer to come out too early.

The PRIMO model comes with an electronic weighing system which allows a real time reading of the amount of fertilizer present in the hopper. Thanks to this feature the operator is constantly informed on the distribution quantity. PRIMO HYDRO ISOBUS is equipped with a special software developed in collaboration to the Padova University. From the cab, the farmer can manage weighing and calibration, ON/OFF shutter, flow and individual partition setting between the two distributors, trimming kit activation, fast product opening and closing. In addition, this software has been updated with the features of the most common fertilizers. Thanks to this huge database, the monitor set-up automatically the spreader according to the product type presents in the hopper. PRIMO HYDRO ISOBUS is available in two tank widths: 2.53 m or 2.85 m and three different hopper extensions, which convey maximum adaptability to operational needs, achieving large load volumes, up to 3200 kg (spreading widths: 12-18 m, 24-36 m, 36-48 m).
