Takeuchi bauma – the present of the future
Takeuchi presented its latest battery-powered electric excavators at Bauma in Munich, including the TB 10e, TB 20e, and TB 35e models, known for their zero emissions and their quiet operation, even indoors. With their powerful batteries, these machines are on par with diesel excavators and are aimed at environmentally conscious buyers. Takeuchi places great emphasis on innovation, which is reflected in the high quality of its excavators and attachments, such as hydraulic breakers and tiltrotators, which were tested by experts from Wilhelm Schäfer GmbH. The trade fair provided the manufacturer with the opportunity to showcase its comprehensive fleet of machines, including two new wheeled excavators, to an international audience and demonstrate the capabilities of these machines in practical applications on-site.
Mobilair M50B: Mobile Compressed Air from a Battery
Kaeser Kompressoren is presenting the Mobilair M50B at bauma, an innovative, battery-operated construction compressor that could revolutionize traditional construction compressors. The M50B, which looks similar to a conventional model, is equipped with a 300 kg battery that enables cordless power for outputs of 5.2 m³/min at operating pressures of 6 to 14 bar. This development aims to test the feasibility of battery-electric solutions in the construction industry and actively involve users in shaping future technologies.
