STIHL combines outstanding wearing comfort with high visibility when working on roads and railway lines in the new cut protection and high-visibility suit Protect MS. The suit consists of jacket and trousers, with both garments also being available individually. The breathable, lightweight outer fabric with a monoelastic stretch component enables freedom of movement. The preformed elbows and knees also contribute to wearer comfort. Light ventilation material under the arms and on the backs of the thighs reduces the thermal overload. The knees, elbows and shoulders are reinforced and have thorn protection. The high-visibility color and reflective piping ensure conspicuity even in poor visibility terrain or bad weather conditions. Individually, the jacket and trousers comply with high visibility class 2 in accordance with EN ISO 20471. In addition, as a suit the Protect MS fulfills the requirements of the highest visibility class, high visibility class 3. For chain saw operators the jacket and trousers are also provided with a high quality cut protection layer on the arms and legs, chest and additionally in the abdominal area in accordance with EN 381 cut protection class 1.
